I’m all about screens. I love when everything on my desktop has a place and can be easily referenced so much so that sometimes I just sit and stare. I thought today since we don’t have any shoots until Jill + Brent’s fabulous wedding this Saturday I’d post a screenshot of the desktop that I stare at every day. I know, right?! It’s nerd / photo / social media / organizational heaven.

There’s just something about the way you produce your photos that looks incredibly analogue and warm to me. Sort of like a vinyl record for the eyes.
I’d love to know how good you feel your Apple 30″ monitors are. I recently bought one and was disappointed by how washed out it looked at 120cm/m2 brightness. So disappointed, in fact, that I sold it and bought a Panasonic 42″ G20 Plasma instead.
Although the Plasma is much lower definition, it has an image quality similar to what I’m used to seeing with a slide projector. Warm and rich and ever so deep.

Since we work in the wedding industry I thought that we would be too jaded to enjoy things like wedding websites. Turns out that’s not the case. I present to you the totally cheesy (but awesome) katyandmatt.us
I haven’t had any of my homies check the Spanish translation yet so there are no doubt some serious errors, but you get the idea. Also, I’ve been out of town for a week skiing and snowboarding in the beautiful city of Big Sky, Montana. If you have the chance, I highly recommend it. It was amazing and totally chill. Gotta love the people in Montana.
