Caila | Portraits

Caila, sister of Mitch and Tom, studies at Fuller Seminary in LA. She felt slighted when she returned home from college to find the family home decorated with giant prints of her brothers. Her mom told me that she made a promise to get Caila in for a portrait session, and last night she did.

Que buen día hacia ayer en Minneapolis! Así que tuve que recorrerme por la ciudad con Sammy, Cristina, y su hija Tanya para hacer unos retratos de su familia. Yo conocí a Tanya porque coordina el club social del edificio donde tenemos el estudio y a mi me gusta mucho todo lo que es ‘social’. Me contactó hace un mes porque quería hacer retratos con su familia que es originalmente de Colombia. Supe que realmente llevan casi 30 años viviendo en San Diego, pero siendo la bonita gente que son me dejaron practicar mi Español. Que yo sepa no dije nada estúpido (una vez pregunte al mesero si la contraseña de la red inalámbrica se escribió ‘todo con letra masculina’).

Tom and Lounge-asaurus Rex

Tom is an improvisor who’s hoping to start doing more commercial work as an actor. His alter ego, a very Goulet “Lounge-asaurus Rex” also needed some publicity shots. I think we nailed it. The pups certainly enjoyed herself.
