Kessler’s Busy Day
July 8th, 2010
All I heard was a crash, some curse words, and then a sigh of defeat. I leave you to Kessler for the official retelling.
There I was… all showered and everything. A huge improvement over yesterday when I came to work with a dog-eaten sweatshirt over my paint-stained mesh shorts.
Picture me in the moments before, smug as a bug (Don’t you hate bugs? They’re so fricking smug!) ready to eat my breakfast. I’m doing my happy eats shoulder bop one bite in. Suddenly I lose my grip, and the bowl of friendly Quaker Oat Squares smacks the counter before it shatters to the ground, spilling organic milk and locally farmed blueberries down my tiered skirt.
My tiered skirt.
Luckily, I have a backup pair of mesh shorts that will look awesome with the toe cleavage I’m sporting in these heels.

HUGE Theater Fundraiser
March 12th, 2010
We’ve got major love for the folks at HUGE Theater. Their fundraiser last week boasted a couple of our favorite celebrities and some of our cherished local improvisors.
Of course, we didn’t actually talk to any of the famous people. Matt has no excuse. I’m an introvert. Also, what do I say? WHAT’S MY OPENER?!
“HEY I LIKE MADMEN SOMETIMES I WATCH IT AND PRETEND I LOOK LIKE JOAN HOLLOWAY OH THAT WAS STUPID I KNOW SHE’S NOT REAL! WHY AM I YELLING? CAN I HAVE YOUR AUTOGRAPH? OR SEE YOUR UNO CARD COLLECTION? I…HATE MYSELF.”
Anyway, if you’d like to support HUGE’s quest to build a space for long-form improv in the Twin Cities, you can donate to their cause.

The Nu Project | Updated Site and Images
November 29th, 2009
In the winter months I try to stay busy shooting personal projects. One of my projects that I’m most proud of is The Nu Project, a collection of fine art nudes of normal people. I’m hoping to publish a book of the images and present them to a few different galleries in 2010 to hopefully be considered for an opening. It’s such a fulfilling experience to get to meet so many amazing people and to have the opportunity to share their stories and personalities with everyone. There is nudity on this site but I wouldn’t call it 18 plus. I would call it “not for work unless you work for yourself or can’t get fired.”
I’ve re-done the site and added some new images so if you’d like, check it out. Thanks for looking, enjoy the work, and if you or anyone you know would like to be part of the project, please contact the studio.

While I hate to see broken breakfast and a tarnished tiered skirt, I love the post! Hope to see many more of these “documentary” entries!
